Best for: garage and basement clear-outs, roofing tear-offs, deck demolition

10 Yard

12' × 8' × 3.5'
Holds up to 2 tons (4,000 lbs)

Best for: single-room renovations, smaller cleanouts, up to 10 squares of shingles

Unsure which size? Start with your project.

Torn between two sizes? Go with the larger one. A container that is not completely full hauls out just as smoothly — scheduling a second trip does not.

How the process works

1

Schedule it

Call (248) 260-5949 or tap any button on this page. Tell us about the job and when you need it — we lock in the size and the placement spot while you are still on the phone.

2

We drop it off

We place the container exactly where you want it, boards down, door oriented the way you requested. You do not need to be there.

3

We pick it up

Call or text when you have finished loading. We come get it and haul everything away, usually the next business day.

Why Berkley residents keep calling us

Correct size on the first trip

Describe the project and we will recommend the right container, including when a smaller one is all you need.

Licensed and insured

Fully covered for residential and commercial jobs in MI. We can send a certificate on request.

One call handles everything

Give us the project details and your preferred date. We confirm the size and placement before you hang up.

We guard your driveway

Every driver sets boards beneath the rails before the container makes contact with your pavement.

Local owner-operator, not a middleman

You speak with the people who own the trucks — not a call center in another state.

Seven days included

Every rental comes with a full week on your property, and pickup is a single text away.

What you can load in the container

If you are not sure about a particular item, check with us before tossing it in — that prevents a rejected load.

Allowed

General household junk and furniture
Renovation and demolition debris
Asphalt roofing shingles
Lumber, plywood and trim boards
Drywall and plaster material
Carpet, underlayment and flooring
Cabinets and countertop sections
Deck boards and fence panels
Appliances that contain no freon
Boxes, clothing and children's toys

Prohibited — never load these

Paint, wood stains and solvents
Motor oil, gasoline and diesel fuel
Propane cylinders
Automobile and truck tires
Batteries of any type
Refrigerators and AC units containing freon
Asbestos or potentially contaminated insulation
Medical or biohazardous waste
Railroad ties and creosote-treated lumber
Pesticides and swimming pool chemicals
Note: yard waste, soil, concrete and brick are too heavy for a mixed load and require a dedicated heavy-debris container — Call (248) 260-5949 and we'll bring the right one.
The truck parked in your driveway belongs to us — and so does the phone number.

Local owner-operator, not a middleman

Nelson Olmstead has been moving debris around Berkley for 16 years — first driving for someone else, now running their own operation. When you dial (248) 260-5949, you reach the family that owns the containers, schedules the routes and picks up the phone on a Saturday morning.

A lot of dumpster websites are middlemen who hand your job off to whoever is available. We are the crew that actually shows up.

Straight from the neighbors

“We loaded it quicker than we expected and they brought a second container the following morning without any fuss.”
J. Alvarez · Estate cleanout
“Phoned at 9am, had a 20 yard sitting in the driveway before lunch. The driver laid boards down without being asked.”

“Sent them a text on a Thursday evening, the container was picked up Friday afternoon. Simplest part of the entire renovation.”

Questions people ask us every week

Where exactly do you place the container?
Wherever our truck can safely reach — your driveway, a side yard, or curbside with a permit. Let us know which direction you want the door to face and we will set it that way.
What materials are allowed in the dumpster?
Household junk, furniture, renovation debris, roofing, decking, flooring and drywall. No paint, fuel, tires, batteries or freon-containing appliances. Yard waste, dirt and concrete go in a separate heavy-debris container.
Is same-day delivery available?
In most cases, yes — place your order before 1pm on a weekday and we will work you into that afternoon's schedule. After 1pm you go on the first run the following morning.
How many days can I keep the container?
Seven days come standard with every size. Need more time? Call or text before your scheduled pickup and we will extend it.
Which size do most homeowners go with?
The 20 yard. It handles a kitchen renovation or a full-home cleanout, and it is the size we deliver most often in Berkley. If your project is smaller, we will tell you and bring the 10 or 15 instead.
